## **What is a Project?**

A **Project** is a living context graph grounded in ontology, built from one or many Sources.

Projects are where meaning is defined and refined. While Sources contain raw structure, Projects define how that structure maps to real-world concepts in your organization.

Teams can create multiple projects so that they can model different domains independently and experiment safely. A Project should have a clear modeling scope. Some examples:

| **Project Scope** | **Example Project** | **What It Models** |
| :---------------------- | :------------------------ | :----------------------------------------------------- |
| Business domain | Customer & Revenue | Customers, accounts, subscriptions, invoices, payments |
| Product analytics | Product Usage | Users, workspaces, features, events, sessions |
| Department model | Marketing Attribution | Campaigns, leads, opportunities, channels |
| Governance / compliance | Risk & Controls Model | Policies, controls, incidents, systems, owners |
| AI application context | Support & Knowledge Graph | Customers, cases, products, knowledge articles, SLAs |
